Hey there! It’s Micheal, the guy usually behind the camera. I’ve enjoyed the arts my whole life really, but everything came into focus when I purchased my first real DSLR camera as a “you made it through high-school” gift for myself. Years (and thousands of questionable photos) later, I decided to take my skills public! Along my photographic journey, I met my beautiful wife, Lydia, who would often help me during sessions. These days, she’s been busy organizing our soon-to-be-filled nursery 👶 so you might not see her during sessions quite as much going forward!

That all said, when we aren’t out there making people smile or trying to get your three kids to all look at the camera at the same time, we love spending time with each other (yeahhh, we’re pretty cheesy like that) whether it be playing board games, going on walks, or reading the Bible together. On our own time, Lydia is often playing piano, lesson planning for her students, snuggling our bunnies, or listening to a great audio book. Meanwhile, I might be practicing photography, doing a DIY project for the house, painting, or making spreadsheets… because I’m a nerd that likes numbers and data.
